Article 2 – Applicability
These terms and conditions apply to every offer from Sultan Scents and to every distance contract concluded via sultanscents.nl. These terms are made available to the consumer before the contract is concluded.
Article 3 – The offer
The offer contains as complete and accurate a description of the products as possible. Images are a true representation, but small differences in colour or packaging are possible. Obvious mistakes or errors in the offer are not binding. All products are offered while stocks last.
Descriptions such as "inspired by" only indicate the scent direction. Our products are original perfumes from the brands listed and are not imitations of the fragrances mentioned.
Article 4 – The contract
The contract is concluded when the consumer accepts the offer and payment has been completed. You will receive a confirmation by e-mail immediately. Sultan Scents may refuse or cancel an order for a valid reason, such as an obvious pricing error or suspected fraud. In that case we will refund the full amount.
Article 5 – Prices
All prices are in euros and are final prices. Any shipping costs are clearly stated before the order is completed. Sultan Scents uses the Dutch small business scheme (KOR); therefore no VAT is charged.
Article 6 – Payment
Payment is made using the payment methods offered in the checkout. The order is shipped once payment has been received.
Article 7 – Delivery
We ship with PostNL. Orders placed and paid on working days before 17:00 are shipped the same day. Delivery takes 1 to 2 working days within the Netherlands and 2 to 4 working days to other countries. These delivery times are indicative. If an order cannot be delivered within 30 days, the consumer may cancel the contract free of charge. The risk of damage or loss passes to the consumer upon delivery. Article 8 – Right of withdrawal
The consumer may cancel the contract within 14 days of receiving the product without giving any reason. An exception applies to sealed perfumes: if the seal (seal or foil) has been broken after delivery, or if the product has been opened or used, the right of withdrawal lapses for reasons of health protection and hygiene (Article 6:230p(f) of the Dutch Civil Code). Article 9 – Costs of withdrawal
The costs of returning the product are borne by the consumer. Sultan Scents will refund the purchase price, including the original standard shipping costs, within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal, using the same payment method the consumer used. We may withhold the refund until we have received the product or the consumer has shown proof of return.
Article 10 – Conformity and warranty
We guarantee that our products comply with the contract and with the description in the offer. If you receive a damaged, faulty or wrong product, please contact us as soon as possible, preferably within 2 days of receipt and with photos. We will then arrange an appropriate solution, such as a replacement or refund. Your statutory rights always remain in force.
Article 11 – Use of perfume
Perfume is for external use only. Test a new fragrance on a small area of skin first. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Keep out of reach of children and away from fire.
Article 12 – Complaints
Complaints can be submitted via info@sultanscents.nl. We will respond within 14 days. If we cannot resolve the matter together, you can also submit your complaint via the European ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

We handle your personal data with care. You can read how we do this in our privacy policy.
Article 14 – Applicable law
All contracts with Sultan Scents are governed by Dutch law. This does not affect the mandatory protection a consumer enjoys under the law of their own country of residence.
